I have yet to get over the funkiness of how accurate these things can be (hopefully I never will). On the art... I know a few things about making Tarot art. I know it takes years and years to do a full deck (there's little financial return compared to time invested, but I suppose a lot of satisfaction). I know that most artists do it out of a love for the tarot or the archetypes, or maybe sheer inspiration by them. I also know that they need to know the cards, their archetypes, well, and that the art is normally full of symbolic meaning and association that comes from knowledge. I think if your cousin was interested, then the best way to begin would be to get a deck (or three or five), to immerse in the art and to start learning how to read the cards. If, the love of this type of art is there a good deck and some basic lessons will spark it! * Side note: I was thinking of putting up the Tarot class that I'm currently teaching as a series of lessons for download, that would be a great beginning.
